Texas

Texas is a lot to carry right now.

Virtual IFS-informed therapy for Texans navigating big feelings in a complicated state.

I'm a Texan. Born and raised in Austin, proud University of Texas graduate, and someone who loves this state deeply: its people, its stubbornness, its size, its heart.

I'm also someone who watches what's happening in Texas politics and feels the weight of it. The legislation. The culture wars. The way certain people are being told, over and over, that they don't fully belong here.

If you're a Texan who loves your home and also grieves what it's becoming, you're not alone.

If you grew up in a church that shaped everything about how you saw the world, and you're not sure what you believe anymore, you're not alone.

If you're queer and Texan and exhausted by having to fight for your existence in the state you call home, you're not alone.

This is a space where all of that is welcome.

Who this is for:

You might be in Houston, navigating the complexity of one of the most diverse cities in the country while still feeling profoundly unseen. You might be in Dallas, San Antonio, Fort Worth, or Lubbock, somewhere the religious and political culture has shaped you in ways you're still untangling. You might be in Austin, watching your hometown change faster than you can process.

Wherever you are in Texas, virtual therapy means you don't have to fight traffic to sit on a therapist's couch. You just need a private space and an hour.

I do my best work with Texans who are carrying more than they let on. People who are fiercely capable and quietly overwhelmed. People whose faith once held everything together and now raises more questions than it answers. People who are proud of where they come from and also ready to do something different with what it gave them.

IFS gives us a framework for working with the parts of you that were shaped by Texas, the resilient parts, the guarded parts, the parts that learned to be strong in a culture that rewards it. We're not here to undo any of that. We're here to give those parts some room to breathe.
